Please head over to our contact page and send us an e-mail letting us know you are interested in submitting a story.
You should include the following in your submission:
- In the subject of the e-mail put Submit A New Story
- A Pseudonym for yourself (we don't even want to publish your real name, of course!)
- Which class the story should go in:
- World
- National
- Local
- Politics
- Law
- Science
- Space
- Technology
- Environment
- Energy
- Health
- Education
- Finance
- Business
- Weather
- Sports
- Entertainment
- Food
- Fashion
- Lifestyle
- Religion
- Paranormal
- A Catchy Phrase for the Headline
- A Random Location as Well as a Date the Story was written
- A gif or jpg to go with the story
- Please feel free to provide links or references in the story to add realism to it. If you don't know how to set up a link, just copy the web address and we'll do it for you
- If we think it's a great idea, we'll consider using it:
- We'll edit the story for grammar, spelling, punctuation and continuity
- We'll send it back to you to get your final approval
- If you send it back to us with your approval of the changes (we'll give instructions) we'll then publish the story and send you an e-mail link to it
- It's as simple as that!
If you haven't figured it out yet, we tend to be a bit Conservative on our end. However, we appreciate all perspectives and if your story is funny enough we'll publish it. The key is typically irony!
Currently all pages are created by hand. We do not use canned editors. Our goal is get everything up on scripting to save time - we're working on the software right now. Thus it takes a few days for the
process to work - so if you submit something, please be patient! We will get back in touch with you!
