"Fake News;" became a thing during the US Election Cycle of 2016. And by a thing we mean the term became popularized with Main Stream Media (MSM) and the Left as a way to counteract news sources such as Breitbart and Info Wars which published many stories that were:

   A. Supposedly untrue

   B. Supposedly influenced the election against Hillary Clinton

In oppression to free speech, it is the goal of many sources such as Facebook to shut them down in order to prevent them from having such a widespread impact on Politics.

This completely ignores the fact that outlets such as MSNBC, CNN and other obviously left leaning "News Agencies" were decidedly anti-Trump, and published a myriad of unverifiable stories. It seems they are not so much interested in truth as they are propagating their own agenda, while suppressing the information that shines a light on it. Another term for this is propaganda.

But "Fake News;" has been around for a lot longer than that. Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart and "The Colbert Report" with Stephen Colbert were obvious left leaning satirical shows that put a liberal/progressive slant on everything. The Left NEVER batted an eye at this. Again, it fit their agenda.

Thus, in late December, 2016 this site was started as an "In Your Face" to the Left and it's propaganda. It is styled loosely in the fashion of The Onion, our hero.

On the other hand, this site, although decidedly Conservative from the owner's perspective, wishes to make light of everything. Not just the Left, but the Right as well. And everything in between.
